The Department of Education isn't communicating with school management amidst an influx of Ukrainian refugees.
That's according to Laois-Offaly TD Carol Nolan, who's concerns follow Minister Foley's claim that there are 40,000 places for displaced Ukrainian students within schools.
She fears a lack of funding, capacity and staffing issues could lead to another crisis in the education system if they're not addressed.
