'Mapping Youth Work For Travellers in Ireland' is being launched.
A Traveller organisation based in Laois is backing a national survey calling for better funding for Traveller youth work orgainisations.
The Irish Traveller Movement is launching 'Mapping Youth Work For Travellers in Ireland' to improve funding respresantive of the work that they do.
The survey found that despite engaging more with young people than mainstream services, 53 per cent recieve no funding for their work through the UBU scheme.
Laois Traveller Community Development and Youth Worker Youth Worker Brian Byrne spoke on a panel about the report at the launch alongside Youth Group member Dolly Nevin
