Clown Around in Portarlington took to Facebook to announce its decision to close the play centre from Monday - Friday, with the exception of school breaks.
It says the centre has been very quiet on Fridays for the past three months.
The business says its looking at all ways to 'keep their heads above water, without increasing our prices.'
Clown Around have committed to maintaining their current price range.
Speaking at an energy meeting in Portarlington last year, owner Elaine Mullally says the centre saw a massive increase in its electricity bill:
