Two midlands shop managers have been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
Crona Kenny, manager of the SPAR/Top Oil store in Garrcastle, Athlone has made it to the final of the ShelfLife National Grocery Management Awards.
One of the most eagerly anticipated events in the Irish retail calendar, it's Ireland's premier scheme for recognising and honouring management excellence.
Crona has been shortlisted for the prestigious Customer Service Manager of the Year award.
SPAR Sales Director Colin Donnelly said;
"The honour of being a finalist in the annual ShelfLife National Grocery Management Awards is a tremendous acknowledgement of the ongoing excellence of SPAR/Top Oil Garrycastle and, indeed, of all SPAR stores.

Grainne Keating from Scully’s XL, Daingean has also made the shortlist.
She's in the running for the C-Store Manager of the Year (Medium) award.
