The bill will be presented in the Dáil in the autumn.
A new bill aimed at providing a low cost, efficient way to deal with legitimate insurance claims in a timely and a cost effective manner is being welcomed by the Alliance for Insurance Reform.
Junior Business Minister and Longford-Westmeath TD Robert Troy says the bill will be presented in the Dáil in the autumn and he expects it will be enacted before the end of the year.
As part of the bill the role of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board will be enhanced and would be offering a mediation service for the first time.
