New changes being brought in by the National Lottery later this year expect to create more millionaires when Lotto and Lotto Plus are played.
The number of lotto balls is being reduced from 47 to 45, the Lotto Plus Two top prize will increase from €250,000 to €1 million, and a new draw will be added for Mondays.
Multiple winners have emerged across the midlands this year, with Westmeath providing the largest amount of lotto winners in the region this year.
