The move will see 60 new jobs created for Tullamore.
New jobs are on the way in Offaly.
Corrib Oil is announcing Tullamore will be home to Ireland's second Wendy's store leading to the creation of 60 new jobs.
The take-away restaurant will open in May in the Tullamore Retail Park following the opening the first Irish Wendy's in Cork last October.
Corrib plans to open 10 Wendy’s locations across Ireland, both as standalone restaurants and at select Corrib Oil service stations, creating more than 300 jobs nationwide.
Michael Clarke, Managing Director, Europe, The Wendy’s Company, added:
“We’re proud to see Wendy’s continue its growth in Ireland with the opening of the Tullamore restaurant. Corrib Oil has proven to be a strong partner, and we’re excited to bring Wendy’s ‘globally great, locally loved’ experience to more Irish customers when the restaurant opens this spring.”
