A new report by Siemens Ireland suggests the county could become a hub for data centres in the future.
The diverse range of low-carbon enterprises and plans in Offaly will enable the county to attract data centre investment in the future.
That's the perspective of the Local Enterprise Office as a recent report suggests the midlands could become a new hub for the centres in the future.
The Siemens report also stated the abundance of land for development, the moderate climate and strong supply of talent makes the region appealing for that particular industry.
