The courts are planned for Edenderry.
Plans have been unveiled for new padel courts in Offaly.
The site is beside Mangan’s Service Station on Edenderry’s Dublin Road.
A planning application was lodged on December 19 by Ronnie McArdle on behalf of Ciaran Mangan.
The proposal includes demolishing existing commercial units and constructing an enclosed facility with three padel courts and supporting amenities.
Additional features include EV charging bays, lighting, drainage works and soft landscaping, with existing buffers to nearby properties retained.
The project remains at pre-approval stage, with no decision date yet set.
