Therapists and gender violence campaigners are taking part in a stand-out protest this lunchtime against any move to allow counselling records being used in court trials.
The demonstration is taking place in solidarity with rape survivor, Mullingar's Hazel Behan who is appearing before the Oireachtas Committee on Justice today.
Campaigners are criticising the lack of time being allowed for scrutiny on the question of counselling records being used in gender violence trials.
Ms Behan is the sole survivor speaking to the committee today for a period of three minutes.
