A public meeting to protect and restore water quality is taking place in Laois soon.
The Local Authority Waters Programme event is taking place on Monday, the 2nd of March from 7 - 8pm at the Maldron Hotel Portlaoise to discuss the quality for the Portlaoise and Graiguecullen-Portarlington Municipal Districts.
LAWPRO works with Ireland’s 31 local authorities under the River Basin Management Plan and will outline plans for the upcoming Water Action Plan.
There will be opportunities for people to engage with representatives from the Agricultural Sustainability Support and Advisory Programme and the Farming for Water EIP initiative.
