The F1 Journey Can Cost North Of €30m - Alex Dunne

The Offaly superstar resumes his campaign to reach the sport's top table in the coming weeks.

F2 star Alex Dunne says an average season racing in Formula Two can cost as much as four million euro. 

The Clonbullogue man finished fifth in the World Championship last year and is set to race for Rodin Motorsport in 2026.

Dunne is being backed by Condron Concrete, based in Tullamore, for his forthcoming campaign.

The support is part of a multi-annual deal from the Midlands business.

He says there's nearly no limit to the cost of trying to reach the pinnacle of the sport:
