Tullamore Dew Visitor Experience Wins Two World Whiskies Awards

The Distillery Experience was awarded Visitor Attraction of the Year and Visitor Attraction Team of the Year.

The Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery Experience Tour was honoured with two awards at last week’s prestigious World Whiskies Awards Ireland 2026. The awards ceremony, held on February 26th at Dublin’s InterContinental Hotel, celebrated the excellence of the Irish whiskey market from established brands to independent producers.

Tullamore D.E.W.’s Distillery Experience Tour was awarded Visitor Attraction of the Year and Visitor Attraction Team of the Year, beating strong competition from other whiskey attractions across the country. These titles reinforce the brand’s award-winning legacy and role within the Irish whiskey industry.

Set in Tullamore D.E.W.’s working distillery in Co. Offaly, this award-winning attraction combines nearly 200 years of tradition with state-of-the-art facilities, creating a journey that is as memorable as it is unique. The tour takes guests from grain to glass, immersing them in the sights, sounds, and aromas of Irish whiskey-making. From the warmth of a freshly served Irish Coffee on arrival to the copper glow of the still house, every detail is designed to bring the craft and character of Tullamore D.E.W. to life.

As winners of the World Whiskies Awards Ireland, Tullamore D.E.W. is now shortlisted to compete against other international winners of the same categories at the World Whiskies Awards Global on March 25th.

Operations Manager for the Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery Experience, Nicola Scally, says:

“Our team has dedicated itself to creating a unique, immersive experience in Tullamore, so we’re delighted to see our hard work recognised. More than a visitor centre, our distillery tour is an immersive experience that allows every guest to discover Irish whiskey from grain to glass. Everyone on our team shares a genuine passion for whiskey and for this distillery, and it is amazing to see that this enthusiasm resonates with our visitors.”
