Both notices were issued last week.
Two boil water notices affecting supplies in Offaly have been lifted.
The first of those, which impacted the Clonbullogue Public Water Supply, was issued last week following the failure of chlorine disinfection at the treatment plant.
Poor water quality in the Little Brosna River saw another notice issued on the Roscrea Regional and Shinrone/Brosna areas, which affected Offaly residents in Cooleeshill, Killavilla, Whitepark, Sheehane, Cloonagh, Shinrone Village, Brosna and Dungar.
Uisce Éireann says following consultation with the HSE, both of these advisories have been lifted.
Uisce Eireann’s Colin Cunningham is acknowledging the impact of the notice on customers and thanked the community for their support while we worked to lift the notice:
"Uisce Éireann’s primary focus remains the protection of public health and we worked with our stakeholders to lift the notice as quickly as possible.
We are grateful to our customers, elected representatives and the media for their assistance in sharing information on the boil water notice in recent days."
