Two Midlands Women Reappointed To RSA Board

Both of them lost children in car crashes.

Two midlands women are continuing their campaign to make Ireland's roads safer.

Gillian Tracey's four year-old son was killed by a drunk driver near Portarlington seven years ago, prompting her to get involved in the Road Safety Authority.

Gillian - and Irish Road Victims' Association founder Donna Price, who lost her son in a crash in 2006 - were appointed to the RSA's board of directors in 2018.

The Transport Minister has re-appointed them both, to serve for a further three years.
