Route 818 between Mullingar and Castlepollard starts on December 23rd.
A new bus service is being established for two Westmeath towns.
Transport for Ireland Local Link has announced Route 818 which will travel between Mullingar and Castlepollard, starting from the 23rd of December.
The route will also service Collinstown, Crookedwood and Knockdrin among other locations, as well as connectivity to facilities such as Mullingar Station, Mullingar Hospital and Lough Sheever Business Park.
The new amenity is a part of the Connecting Rural Ireland Mobility Plan, which is funded by the National Transport Authority.
