A midlands-based engineering business has been acquired by a US-based company.
GlobalLogic, which is part of the Hitachi Group and is based in Silicon Valley, has announced it's entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Sidero Ltd, which was established in Athlone in 2013.
While the terms of the transaction have not been disclosed, Sidero will continue to operate with its existing leadership and staff as a wholly owned subsidiary of the digital engineering company.
President and CEO of GlobalLogic, Nitesh Banga, says:
