A public meeting on the quality of water in an Offaly town is taking place next month.
The Local Authority Waters Programme is holding a community information meeting about water quality and water related issues in the Tullamore Municipal District on Tuesday August 12th.
Tullamore has been identified as having poor water quality and is part of a priority area action plan.
Those attending the meeting will hear about what's currently being done to improve the situation, while there will also be opportunities for the public to ask questions of the project team.
The event will begin at 7pm in Rahan Community Hall, Tullybeg, Rahan, in Tullamore.
