Marist's Manager believes this year's final was decided on fine margins.
Marist College Athlone had to process heartbreak and joy on the same day after they competed in the Junior and Senior Cups at the Dexcom Arena yesterday.
The Athlone school won their second Junior Cup in three years against Sligo Grammar, while they lost to the same school in the Senior Cup decider later yesterday evening.
The final score in the Senior contest was 29 - 18.
That was Sligo Grammar's third consecutive win in the competition.
Kevin Egan was at the Dexcom arena for Midlands 103.
Marist Manager Shane Broderick tells him the Sligo side were deserving winners.
