The Environmental section says it will continue to do clean ups.
This year's budget for cleaning up illegal dumping in Laois has already run out.
Just over 21,000 euro was allocated for clean up works in 2021 - however, over 28,000 had been spent up to the end of April.
Laois County Council says the problem of illegal dumping has significantly increased this year.
But it says the Environment Section will continue carrying out clean up works, despite the budgetary issues.
In the last week, the local authority has received an additional 54,000 euro in funding from the Department of the Environment for managing illegally dumped material.
