The party has now confirmed its candidates for Laois and Longford-Westmeath.
Aontú has identified its front runner for the nomination to run in Laois in the upcoming General Election.
Martha Ryan is expected to be selected to contest for a spot in the three-seat constituency, which will be split from Offaly in the next Dáil term.
Ms. Ryan failed to secure a seat in Portlaoise in the recent Local Elections, after claiming 187 votes before being eliminated on the third count.
Aontú Leader, Meath West TD, Peadar Toibín, says she's a really good candidate:
The party earlier this week announced Laura O'Neill as its candidate to contest for a seat in the Longford-Westmeath constituency.
Ms. O'Neill was unsuccessful in her bid to secure a seat in the 2024 Local Elections in the Kinnegad area of Westmeath, finishing 12th of 17 candidates with a total of 397 votes.
Deputy Toibín says the party is yet to decide on its candidate in Offaly.
It's one of seven constituencies where Aontú hasn't selected a candidate so far.
