The Irish Farmers Association believes the 'Single Fund Approach' is jeapordising the next Common Agricultural Policy.
The move to consolidate the EU's agricultural budget to just one fund could be part of plans the European Union is looking at in a draft Multiannual Financial Framework.
The IFA feels farmers have had little to no consultation on what the framework or proposals could entail.
These concerns are being outlined in the IFA'S CAP event this evening in the Killashee Hotel in Naas at 7.30pm with Agriculture Minister Martin Heydon as keynote speaker.
