A Traveller teenager from Laois is calling for better funding for Traveller specific youth work projects.
Portlaoise's Dolly Nevin has been working with the Laois Traveller Action Group for the past five years.
A new survey by the Irish Traveller Movement has found 53 per cent of youth work projects for Travellers recieve no funding for their work through the UBU scheme.
Dolly spoke on a panel at the survey's launch about her experience with the community's Youth Group.
She says that the group has empowered her to speak about issues affecting the community:
