15 Midlands schools have their eyes on the prize of €7,500.
The judging process is well underway at the BT Young Scientist exhibition.
1 thousand and 62 student finalists will be presenting their projects to 85 judges ahead of the awards ceremony tomorrow evening.
With 15 midlands schools competing with 44 projects at the RDS this week.
The overall winner will take home €7,500 and will represent Ireland at the European Union Contest for Young Scientists in Latvia this September.
