A man is being remanded in custody after a video was published online, threatening to slice Irish babies and kids.
Beniamin Petre of no fixed abode appeared before a special sitting of Portlaoise District Court on a range of charges.
The court heard Mr Petre was charged that on May 24th, he published a grossly offensive communication on Tik Tok with intent to cause harm, contrary to the Harrassment, Harmful Communications and Related Offences Act of 2020.
He was further charged that on the same date, he used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace.
