Offaly and Westmeath County Councils are confirming they have not heard from the former MMA fighter.
County Councils in the Midlands are yet to hear from Conor McGregor on his bid for the presidency despite what the former MMA fighter has been saying online.
Mr McGregor had previously posted on X that he had councils "on board", saying he'd also secured the "most prestigious party of them all".
However, he's also used social media to appeal to the public to ask local councillors to back his bid to become President, posting a video outside government buildings.
He says he wouldn't sign any bill into law until it goes back to the people.
In order to appear on the ballot he must be nominated by at least 20 members of the Dail or Seanad, or no less than four local authorities.
The Irish Daily Star is reporting that Offaly, Westmeath, Carlow, Kildare, and Kilkenny County Councils were among 15 local authorities who confirmed they haven't been contacted by the Dubliner.
16 councils wouldn't confirm or deny they were contacted.
Cabinet yesterday signed off on October 24th as the date for the Presidential Election.
