Plans for a new Midlands secondary school building have been submitted to the local authority for approval.
Tipperary Education and Training Board is seeking permission to build a new 800 pupil secondary school for Coláiste Phobal in Roscrea.
The development includes a modern building featuring classrooms, specialist teaching spaces, halls for general and PE use, a library, offices, staff areas, sanitary facilities, and supporting pedestrian, cycling, and transport infrastructure.
There are also plans for the demolition of the existing school buildings and extensions, as well as the removal of all prefabricated structures from the site.
A decision by Tipperary County Council is due on February 20th.
