An Offaly shop owner says a sudden breakdown in An Post machines in his premises had been expected for months.
Machines at Doolan's Spar store in Blueball suddenly stopped operating on December 29th due to a switchover to fibre cables.
It's left elderly people across the county forced to travel to Tullamore to collect payments, with Offaly TD Tony McCormack urging Communications Minister Darragh O'Brien to fix the matter.
