An Offaly and Westmeath winner have made the shortlist for the Inaugural SEAI Electric Vehicle Dealership Awards.
Tullamore Motors, in Offaly and O' Briens Motor Group in Westmeath are among nominees of the National Award, announced by The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.
They will be announced at this year's SEAI Energy Show, taking place in the RDS, Dublin on March 30th and 31st.
A total of 116 car dealerships from 25 counties participated, where car dealers competed through a mystery shopping exercise, scored on a number of factors,
such as their sales approach, whereas other evaluation areas included EV training.
Declan Meally, Director of Business, Public Sector and Transport at SEAI has said that car dealerships and their staff are a key set of enablers to EV uptake.
