Mr Grogan passed away in April 2023.
The Family of an Offaly farmer, who's death is at the centre of a land dispute, have put a freeze on the administration of his multi-million euro estate, according to the Irish Independent.
The validity of Tullamore's Joe Grogan's marriage to Lisa Flaherty was the subject of intense questioning over the course of an inquest into his death this summer.
Ms Flaherty stands to inherit Mr Grogan's lands, worth an estimated €5.5m.
However four of his cousins through their solicitor Damian Tansey plan on challenging the marriage's validity at the High Court and have applied to prevent the administration of his estate.
Mr Grogan died at the age of 75 from cancer in April 2023.
The inquest into his death recorded a narrative verdict with coroner Raymond Mahon saying his death was probably due to an infection on the balance of probabilities.
The farmland will play host to this year's National Ploughing Championships which get underway tomorrow.
