Rental availability in Offaly and Westmeath has doubled year on year, though from a low base.
There's a "shockingly" low number of homes available to rent across the country.
That's according to the author of the latest Daft.ie report, Ronan Lyons.
While the number of properties available to rent in Offaly and Westmeath has doubled since this time last year, the numbers are coming from a low base.
The number of properties available to rent in Offaly is up from 9 to 20, with the figure going from 30 to 60 in Westmeath.
In Laois supply actually fell from 19 to 10 in the last 12 months.
