The return of Ireland's biggest one-day agri festival was officially launched last night.
Tullamore Show will be back with a bang this year.
That's according to Minister for Rural Development Heather Humphreys who was speaking at the launch at the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore last night.
She says the government is providing €700,000 to the Irish Shows' Association to support committees around the country.
Minister Humphreys has been speaking with Midlands 103's Sinead Hubble and says the Government would be topping up the funding they promised for agricultural shows in 2019:
Delighted to announce €700,000 in funding to support the return of our Agricultural Shows this year. Great to work with the Irish Shows Association on this and really looking forward to visiting as many Shows as possible over the coming months! #OurRuralFuture pic.twitter.com/ZYz1bgJyq3
