It's a near-8% increase on last year's figure.
Westmeath County Council has approved a budget of €108 million for 2024.
The figure marks a 7.5% increase on the €100.6 million allocated for this year.
Within the document is the provision for an extra €5.8 million for housing.
The €26.9 million budgeted for next year is a 27% increase on last year's €21.1 million.
