Carlow property developer Sean Dunne, who now lives in Portarlington, owes a total of €700m after declaring bankruptcy in 2013.
The Irish Independent is reporting a US court has set a date in October for a hearing for the distribution of €23m recovered by bankruptcy trustee, Richard Coan.
Mr Dunne is opposing the resolution, pointing to an error by Mr Coan in the report which states he had been appointed as a trustee in 2024 rather than 2013.
He's also querying Bank of Scotland's assignment of some of his debts after Ulster Bank limited dissolved in 2023.
