The company is relocating its visitor centre after closing the existing site in Tullamore town centre.
A decision is due on plans to create a new Tullamore DEW visitor centre in the coming days.
William Grant and Sons Ltd. are seeking planning permission to transform an existing three-storey administration building at the whiskey distillery's site in Clonminch, Tullamore into a tourist hub and shop.
The proposal also includes the construction of a new timber entrance surround and one external sign at the main site entrance.
Bury Quay in Tullamore town centre was previously the home of the company's visitor experience, but was closed last October after a drop in tourism due to covid-19.
