Ireland's largest STEM fair is calling for entries for this year's regional events.
SciFest will see projects from a range of scientific areas, including physcial, life sciences and technology displayed across 16 fairs around the country.
Two such events will take place in the midlands, including the very first one in 2025 in TUS Athlone on April 9th.
SETU Carlow will also play host to a fair on a date yet to be decided.
A winner will be selected and go on to the SciFest National Final in November, with the overall winner representing Ireland in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in the US.
The deadline for entries is the 12th of March.
This year SciFest will celebrate its 20th anniversary.
Founder and CEO, Sheila Porter, says " I would urge all students to get involved and enter, no matter your background or circumstance, to explore the wonderful world of STEM and all it has to offer."
