A midlands motoring journalist is scrambling to save his business after his YouTube account was hacked.
Bob Flavin received notification over the weekend that control over his motoring channel had been changed.
The hackers managed to manipulate Mr. Flavin's log-in cookies to gain access.
Since then he's had no access to the account, and the content on it immediately changed to Tesla-branded coverage of bitcoin.
The Portlaoise man says it currently looks like a career's work may have been destroyed:
Update: YouTube, creator support have been in touch and I filled out a very large questionnaire. The channel is gone at the moment. I don’t know what damage has been done to the account.

I have begun investigations into who created the hack.
