Young people from Offaly are urging elected representatives to increase investment in youth work in Budget 2027.
Charlie Beaudelot from Tullamore and Aisling Maloney from Roscrea met with John Clendennen TD and Tony McCormack TD to highlight the importance of youth services in supporting young people and strengthening communities.
The National Youth Council of Ireland brought together young people and youth workers at the meeting to discuss the growing demand for youth services.
NYCI is calling for an additional €27.3 million in Budget 2027 to help secure and expand youth work across the country.
