'The Oscars' of Irish food are the largest food awards on the island, open to all 32 counties.
11 food producers from the midlands have made it to the final of Blas na hÉireann.
Now in its 14th year, the all-island food awards recognise the best in the industry, and recorded the largest number of entries to date this year.
The midlands finalists range from breweries to bakeries and chocolate producers to farm shops.
The winners will be announced during a virtual ceremony on October 2nd.
