BoyleSports has the Laois woman as the most-fancied to replace Ryan Tubridy in the Friday seat.
Laois woman Claire Byrne is the favourite to become the new host of the Late Late show.
On Friday night, Ryan Tubridy told the show's audience he wished his successor the best of luck "whoever she may be".
Although he later said he was only joking, the comment fuelled speculation the chat show may get its first ever female host.
That's backed up by BoyleSports, who have the Mountrath woman as most-fancied to take over.
Meanwhile, Miriam O'Callaghan has ruled herself out of taking over.
She had been among a list of names tipped to take over.
But the Prime Time host says she loves her current job too much, and has wished whoever gets the Late Late the best of luck.
Tubridy's announcement to step down from his presenter role came as a shock to many fans over the weekend, but the 49 year old said he's ready to slow down and have some "Ryan time".
