An outbreak of covid-19 at a Laois Nursing Home has resulted in the death of six residents to date.
A further 52 residents of Droimnin Nursing Home are battling the virus along with 33 staff.

Brookhaven Healthcare runs the facility, it's Chief Executive Gearoid Brennan says they're hopeful that the situation will begin to improve in the coming days.
