Minister of State Sean Fleming is welcoming the HSE's decision to put plans to move those living in Erkina House to a facility in Tullamore on hold.
The Laois-Offaly Fianna Fáil TD says the health service apologised for making the information public before residents were informed.
He says a number of options are now on the table, including a full refurbishment of the facility:
