Social Democrat candidate in Meath-West Ronan Moore wants to introduce a right to flexible work which involves workers being able to start three hours either side of a designated start time.
They believe the measure will reduce traffic on the road during peak times.
The party are aiming to win between six and eight seats with the hope of being in a position of going into government.
