Paddy Fenning is looking to raise money for the Irish motor Neurone Disease Association and Homelessness.
An Offaly GAA footballing legend is hoping to raise €150,000 for two charities.
Paddy Fenning was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year, the funds will be given to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Offaly Homeless.
The diease attacks the nerves system and causes slurred speech, weakened grip and muscle twitches.
The launch for the sponsored walk will take place at the Tullamore Court Hotel at 7:30 on Saturday evening - where there will be guests including former teammates, MNA nurses - the event itself will happen in June.
