It's been found compliant in an assessment.
The delivery of care in an Offaly nursing home is focused on eliminating the use of restrictive practices.
That's according to HIQA's latest report on Edenderry Community Nursing Unit.
The Health Watchdog's report found the service to be compliant in its assessment against the National Standards.
Inspectors noted there was an ethos of respect for residents at the centre, and adopted a 'rights-based' approach to care.
The atmosphere is said to be peaceful and relaxed, with care delivered in an unhurried manner.
The centre can accommodate up to 28 people, and caters for men and women with a range of dependencies and needs.
Residents have unrestricted access to the secure gardens, while they were also complimentary of their accommodation and were facilitated to personalise their rooms.
Overall, the report states those living at the centre enjoyed a good quality of life.
