A meeting will be held today in Athlone.
A second public consultation for a Midlands tourism project is being held today.
The event is being hosted by Roscommon County Council for the Hodson Bay Waterfront Park Project, intended to improve connectivity to Lough Ree and increase facilities for walking, cycling, and water recreation.
A previous consultation for the 30 million euro project took place in October last year, as residents, stakeholders and visitors shared their views on the proposed design options.
The event begins at 2pm and lasts until 7pm today at the Hodson bay Hotel, in Athlone, with a two week community survey set to launch and last until 5:30pm on Wednesday 6th May.
