Westmeath has the highest number of applicants, followed by Laois, while Offaly has the fewest.
Around 55,220 first round offers have been made this afternoon with Arts the most popular Level Eight course followed by Health, Engineering, Social Sciences and Information and Communication Technologies.
Around 2,300 people have applied to train as teachers, while 444 have been offered medicine.
Business is the most popular level seven course this year, just under 8,000 offers have been made in that sphere.
