Homelessness in Ireland is at yet another record high with 17,517 people using emergency accommodation in March.
The Department of Housing's latest figures show that in the Midlands, 331 adults and children classified as homeless last month.
That's down marginally from 333 in February, with Offaly having the highest number of people at 78.
That's followed by Laois at 66, Westmeath at 60, and Longford at 21.
The Simon Communities of Ireland says today's latest release shows an over 63 per cent increase in the number of single adults living in emergency accommodation compared to 2021.
