CETA is a free trade agreement between Canada and the European Union - which aims to boost trade and investment by removing tariffs and streamlining trade procedures.
The Tánaiste is also updating the cabinet on plans to accelerate ratification of the deal to include all EU member states - with a view to having a draft ready for Government by the end of the month.
Simon Harris - along with Enterprise Minister and Longford Westmeath TD Peter Burke - will run Cabinet through plans to expand and diversify international trade markets, and support Irish enterprises in the face of current market access challenges.
