It's aimed at making rural areas more vibrant.
There's a cash windfall coming to 16 towns and villages in the midlands.
Six areas of Westmeath and five in both Laois and Offaly will receive government funding for shopfront and streetscape works.
The funding is part of a 7 million euro package announced by the Minister for Rural and Community Development Heather Humphreys.
It'll encompass Moate, Castlepollard, Kinnegad, Kilbeggan, Rochfortbridge and Killucan/Rathwire in Westmeath.
The towns chosen in Offaly are Tullamore, Clara, Birr, Edenderry and Portarlington.
While Mountrath, Mountmellick, Rathdowney, Ballinakill and Ballylinan are the designated locations in Laois.
The types of projects to be supported include collaboration between property owners to paint buildings or shopfronts in vibrant colours, commissioning of murals in towns and villages, provision of street planting, shrubbery, trees and flowers boxes and illumination and lighting of architectural features
